Since we were late for the fourth issue of Ars Axis, we are adding the fifth issue and coming out with an even numbered compilation this time. We receive encouraging and at the same time pleasing reviews about our magazine. We can observe that the number of people who will be interested in art is getting less and less in these uncertain and insecure times we are going through. In addition, those who perceive art as a pleasant and leisure activity do not spare time to read such magazines, as they do not seek to discuss art on the ground of thought.
On the other hand, the situation is not much different for those who say that they are closely related to art. In short, we are aware that Ars Axis art magazine, which does not have popular concerns and tries to offer a high culture opportunity, has a very narrow readership.

Ars Axis’in dördüncü sayısına geç kalınca beşinciyi de ekleyerek çift sayılı bir derleme ile çıkıyoruz bu defa. Dergimiz hakkında teşvik edici ve aynı zamanda sevindirici eleştiriler alıyoruz. İçinden geçtiğimiz bu belirsizlik ve güvensizlik zamanlarında sanatla ilgilenecek insan sayısının gittikçe daha da azaldığını gözlemleyebiliyoruz. Bunun yanında sanatı bir hoş ve boş vakit etkinliği gibi algılayanların düşünce zemininde sanatı tartışmak gibi bir arayışları olmadığından bu tür dergileri de okumaya zaman ayırmazlar. Diğer yandan sanatla yakından ilgili oldu- ğunu söyleyenler için de durum pek farklı değil. Kısacası, popüler kaygıları olmayan ve bir üst kültür imkânı sunmaya çalışan Ars Axis sanat dergisinin oldukça dar bir okuru olduğunun farkındayız.
